directly to help the homeless dogs and cats in our care. |

| Some animals we take in require additional beneficial and life-saving treatments such as: |
- Treatment for heartworm disease (3 treatments required) $ 150 each treatment
Heartworm positive dogs are kept for a minimum of 6 weeks while
receiving treatment before being made available for adoption
- Hip Dysplasia & ACL repair surgeries $ 400—480
- Treatment for ear infections $ 30—150
- Tumor/Growth removals $ 100—275
- Annual routine dental cleanings for all dogs over 3 $ 50
- Dental extractions when needed $ 150 per tooth
- Lab tests for proper diagnosis $ 90--150

| Other costs include dog shampoo, food and water bowls, laundry detergent, dish soap, bleach and other cleaning supplies used to keep the dogs clean and healthy! |
In 2010, Furry Kids saved over 460 animals from kill shelters, from owners who could no
longer care for them, and those found running stray. We found forever homes for over 360 of
these animals! |
